  2. Hi Mary Jo!
The grandchildren and I have had such fun with Lonely Lola Ladybug! The book has definitely had some wear, and I can’t tell you how much individual words made them think. We collect acorns in autumn, pink backpacks are the best, tea parties are our specialty, and we think we have a pollen cake recipe. Helaina is four, and we discussed some of the Parent Guide questions and the terms, “round the bend” and “shove”, which I thought was interesting.
Jim and I so enjoyed your Cincinnati leg of the tour and a private reading of Lola. You might be interested to know that I posted an Amazon review, sent an email to the MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group that I mentor, and have enjoyed sharing with Grammy’s who are friends. Your ladybug characters are quite endearing, and it reminded me of the days we once stitched together.
Much luck on your wonderful adventure with Lola!
    Ann

    • Thank you Ann! What a wonderful description your wrote of how you and your grandchildren are enjoying Lonely Lola Ladybug TOGETHER. That warms my heart! My granddaughter also asked about the word “shove”… a happy indication that this is a new word. I told mine that a shove was an impolite push and something I hope she never got or gave to any one else. Thank you also for writing a 5 star review on Amazon and for sending on your good words to MOPS! Preschoolers are the perfect age to enjoy my book. You now qualify to have 3 chances to win the Lola ladybug Dolls!Yea!
